The woman behind Photo Art By May is May Graham.

May is a passionate freelance photographer based in the Shetland Isles. She creatively captures life's magical moments through wedding, family and bespoke photography services.

Attention to detail is an intrinsic part of her process; from planning to shooting through to the detail in delivery.

Not only do May's clients receive creatively captured moments, they will experience a service that's enriched in kindness, patience and creatively.

“For me, photography is a way of expressing my creativity, and I love the flexibility it offers me in creating my style.

I am drawn to bright colours and try to capture their vibrancy in my images.

Recently I have started experimenting with double exposure imagery to further my development.

Positive feedback and reaction received from the public, friends, and family gave me the confidence to develop new ideas and continue my creative journey.

I like to experiment with different emotions, compositions, and lighting. This is how my unique style of photography has evolved.”
